Visa Information

All foreign visitors desiring to enter the Netherlands must have a valid passport. Depending on your citizenship, the stability of that country and the duration and reasons for your stay you may need to obtain a visa before coming to the Netherlands.

Time needed to apply for your visa:
Foreign participants should contact the Royal Netherlands Embassy, Consulate, or Office of Tourism in their home country as soon as possible to determine their particular visa requirements. It can take from a few days to two months to process a visa application, depending on whether further investigation is necessary in the Netherlands. In exceptional cases, an investigation will take longer than two months. If you are travelling to the Schengen Area for the first time, you should certainly apply for your visa in good time to make sure that you can travel on the dates you planned.

Please follow this link to find out if you need a visa or not.

If you are in need of a letter confirming your participation in the MicroTAS 2010 Conference,
please complete the Visa Letter Request Form.

If, for some reason, your visa application is denied, your registration fees will be refunded to you in full when appropriate documentation is given.
